About Michele Cornelius
As an ardent environmentalist living in Alaska, I seek to capture the beauty of nature and the essence of my experiences through photography and digital art with photographic elements. We moved to Alaska from Northern California years ago in search of wilder places, and have not been disappointed. My partner Gene is a videographer, and we stay in Gustavus for the winter and do some traveling around Alaska and the Yukon Territory in the summer. We have much more of Alaska to explore, and I want to share the beauty of these places and also show why it is important to protect it from the ever increasing threat of industrial development.
